We are altogether twelve students and three mentors, these students are divided into two groups of six students. The teams are called the Blackhawks and the Whitehawks (2218-B and 2218-A). The Blackhawks are composed mostly of new members, however, always remains a student with experience in charge, in addition, the Whitehawks, being composed mostly of members with more experience, help new students. Students may be on the team until they graduate from grade twelve. We have a parent committee and a student committee, where the opinions of the parents are considered as those of the students.

Acording to the official Vex Manual "Matches are played on a field set up as illustrated in the figures below. Two Alliances – one “red” and one “blue” – composed of two teams each, compete in each Match. The object of the game is to attain a higher score than the opposing Alliance by Scoring your colored BuckyBalls and Large Balls into the Middle Zone and Goal Zone, by Stashing your colored BuckyBalls and Large Balls into the Goals, and by Hanging or Hanging With A Ball, at various heights, off your colored Bar at the end of the match."
